Hi guys!!! ^^ i'm back! ^^ muahahahahaha had been away on a Student Leaders Convention at Hwa Chong Insitution =) have been very tried all these days so ya, finally here to update my very dead de blog XP
1st day =)
had to wake up at 5am cause we are suppose to reach Hwa Chong by 7.30am =x so ya, met up at 6am cause we were nt sure how long the bus ride will take =x end up, we onli board the bus at 6.30am cause Dorothy was late for 30mins =.=" i was pissed off, everyone was =x so she officially owes us lunch =D so went to Hwa Chong with Tricia, Sheng Rong, Hani and Dorothy =) cause it was early, thr werent a lot of ppl, thus the bus didnt stop too many times XD hahas
we reached thr on time of course, bt took some time to search for the concourse, which was whr we had to report to =x Miss Kok gave us a map but the concourse on the map was so small, we didnt notice it =x end up, it was at the clock tower, which is very noticable =.=" heng they put up sign boards =D from the clock tower, Hwa Chong looks lyk Victoria concert hall =.=" show u the pictures next time =)
ya then registered and we got this bag which has a t shirt and this thick book which is binded =x so much money sia XD then we got our name tags then we started comparing the group names XD sadly, we are all in different groups =( bt Sheng Rong and I are in the same Youth Comminity =) YOUTH COMMUNITY H!!!!! ^^
ok, then we had ice breakers after going to the Auditorium for opening speech =) erm, after ice breakers was Mass activities where we had to paint our own group flag =) all the group flags form a huge flag with 16th SLC written on it =) hahas then we had to search for rubber bands to get two other coloured paints in the canteen =x the canteen is freaking big ok =x bt we found all the rubber bands rather quickly XD so all the easy ones were taken up by us XP after tt went back to paint the flag and got ready for Orientation Games, which was Amazing Race =)
somehow somehow somehow somehow, i started isolating myself from the group =x mayb cause there are onli 5 girls in the group, so ya, 2 stick to each other and the other 2 stick to each other as well so i'm sort of the odd one out =x anyways, went to Esplanade for the orientation games =) sort of regretted isolating myself though =x bt still, Belarus was fun =D it's the name of my group XP heng Sheng Rong was in the same community as me sia, or nt i thnk i'll die on the 1st day =x must thank Sook Hui and Jazlyn oso, for talking sense into my head XD
and we waited for the bus to come for a whole 2 hours to bring us back to Hwa Chong =.="
2nd day
it was the start of a boring day of activities =x ohya, was late on this day cause didnt expect the big crowd which resulted in many ppl on the bus =x there was a total of around 4 hours of planning T.T which took a long time to pass =x i didnt do anything though, Yu Hao, Shuan, Clarence and En Ying were doing the planning =x cause u see, i couldnt get into wat they were talking abt so gave up trying to =x Tracy and Gary popped in at times then we'll act lyk we are actually planning bt after they leave, we went back to slacking again =x
after tt was lunch! =D OMG it really is Hwa Chong quality sia, the food damn nice! ^^ oh shit, forgot to talk the tissue paper thr so we can use it for OCMC XD so yup, and the group got addicted to this concentration game tt tey always play XD oh oh my group has two foriegn participants, Habert and Tom =) Dorothy (ahem, she's nt the one from Riverside) onli came for the first day and then skipped the rest =.=" actually, heng she didnt come, lyk tt at least i hav someone i can stick to =x Hannah was supposed to be in Veveo so she was transferred thr on the second day XD so tt leaves with 3 girls XP after tt was this Youth Community meeting in which Taptu, Veveo and Belarus (they are all group names XD) had to present the action papers (proposals >.<) to the other groups =O tt was when we started passing notes down the row cause tt, according to Edwin was the main purpose of the meeting XD hahas Tea Break was cool as well =D ohoh, we were told to speak in the 3rd person register XD then Ryan passed a lot of funny notes to Edwin during the meeting and we had to hold back our laughter cause ahem, *clapping, cheering and laughing is not in order* XD then Habert though Sheng Rong is my brother ! XP and i said ya! XD ok i shall fast forward... today was one of the earliest days we end =) 3rd day
quite the same as the 2nd day, jus tt we slack even more XD so i shall not elaborate more =) and we did Hannah Montana's Hoedown Throwdown for the Grand Finale performance! ^^ the Drama Centre is almost as big as the Auditorium man!!! they should seriously donate more space to Riverside!
4th and last day!
I DIDNT REGRET COMING TO THE CONVENTION MAN!!!! =D even though i had to wake up damn early everyday bt still, the grand finale casted away all negative feelings about this convention!!! ^^ we had the last Youth Network meeting, followed by the Guest of Honours' Address which took up a lot of time >.< from thr, we started sending farewell notes to each other =) mine was the shortest man, so sad =( oh well, cnt blame them though, they have nth much to say to me oso XD yup Shuan didnt come cause he was sick and Dorothy as usual was missing. then we saw the attendance list for our group and realised tt there was this missing person on the list who nvr appeared before XD Foo Weng Siang, if i'm not wrong =)
blah blah blah, fast forward to Grand Finale!!!! OMG everyone was damn high sia!!!! kip jumping till my legs nearly broke =x bt still, it was cool!!!! OUR GROUP WON THE AMAZING RACE!!!! ^^ and we got this box of water colour markers XP
but when it was our turn to perform, cause Veveo took too long to perform, our 5 mins was up and didnt get to perform =x was quite angry at first bt after tt contiuned enjoying ourselves =) oh then they had this don forget the lyrics game in which faculties have to run down to answer =) Sheng Rong cnt pronounce faculty! XD and En Ying totally owns in tt game man, he damn power sia!!! even the rap in Baby, he could blabber out the whole thing O____O i don even noe wat some of the songs were =x
after tt we gathered in Veveo's classroom and sort of party-ed a while =) we did our dance and Brandon (Taptu- Sheng Rong's group) did his solo in Bad Romance XP hahas Tracy cried =( and we did a lot of group hugs =) and took a "family photo"! ^^ then we went back to our own classroom and then suddenly realised tt we were locked out of the class x( cause the handle was spoilt and we left the handle to open the door inside =x then guess wat? Ryan climbed up the cupboard, squeezed through the window on top and got into the classroom O______O life saviour!!!! =) hahas then we did a feedback form, gave out the markers, certificates and photos =) Edwin gave us Creamo biscuit and notes as well =) thanks!!! ^^ Gary gave us marshmallow~ =) after tt we group-hugged Edwin and took a picture! =D i shall steal them from Facebook and post it someday soon XD basically, the Grand Finale was damn fun and we shall strive to achieve tt atmosphere in OCMC! =) after tt everyone started hugging everyone =) boys hug girls and girls hug boys XD hahas tt scene was very sweet though =) seeing everyone saying bye bye and all those stuff =) then Sheng Rong kip calling me from outside the classroom >.<
oh rite, post ends here! =) removed my bandage today and can have a clear view of my scar =) anyone wans a picture of it? XP
